AQUAJEM INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION was established in 1992 by Engr. Josefino “Pepe” Cabrera. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with training from Kohler Ltd., Milwaukee USA and Peters Service School in South Hampton, England. With his broad experience in diesel engine, he developed locally fabricated propeller pumps and other aquaculture machinery to supply local shrimp and fish breeders in the Philippines that has become one of the company’s staple product up to date. At the same time, Aquajem was also an exporter and fabricator of metalcraft for American and European market but the production ended soon as the company’s passion is in mechanical and industrial development.
In 2001, doors opened for the company to venture on sluice gates. Its commitment to developing quality products and hands-on experiences in fabrication has led to exceptional strategies and techniques in product development. Aquajem Industrial Corporation continues to progress from flood control and aquaculture sluice gates and pumps to power plant water control gates.
